Is a human motivation whereby our decisions and actions are motivated primarily (if not exclusively) by our own interests.
It is said that Ethical egoism is a doctrine stating that individuals should do what is in their self-interest. Psychological egoism is a doctrine which stresses that individuals are motivated by his or her own self-interest.
