Answer is: molar solubility of nickel(II) carbonate is 3.77·10⁻⁴ M.
Chemical reaction:NiCO₃(s) → Ni²⁺(aq) + CO₃²⁻(aq).
Ksp = 1.42·10⁻⁷.
s(NiCO₃) = ?M.
s(NiCO₃) = s(Ni²⁺) =s(CO₃²⁻) = x.
Ksp = s(Ni²⁺) · s(CO₃²⁻).
Ksp = x · x.
1.42·10⁻⁷ = x².
x = √1.42·10⁻⁷ = 3.77·10⁻⁴ M.
