The correct answer is that "GDP would be much higher than it is, but the well-being of the typical person would not necessarily be higher."

Due to the hard work the Americans are pushing and working on, they will have a higher GDP, yet their well-being and health would be low or at stake, wherein they have less time for recreational activities and time for their partners or their family as well.
