Since 8+5 is thirteen, you have to carry a one over to 3+3, which originally equaled six, and now is 7. So the answer is 73. When you add, you always start from the back, which is 8&5.

8+5 =13 put down the3 and     carry over the 1 to to the 3 and add it to the two 3 you get 7 so your answer is 73
