All visible light (light that our eyes can detect) has wavelength between 400-700 nanometers. Wavelengths just smaller than 400 nm are Ultraviolet light. Wavelengths just larger than 700 nanometers are infrared light. What type of light is the Balmer series light that we have consider so far?

The Balmer series lights fall under the category of VISIBLE LIGHT.
Balmer series light refers to the spectral emissiions that emanate from hydrogen atom. The spectrum of light from an hydrogen atom possess four different types of wavelengths, these are: 410, 434, 486 and 656 nm. It can be seen that the four wavelengths fall under the category of visible light, the wavelengths are more that 400 nm but lower than 700 nm.
