We do the distributive property

8*a+ 16b + 6*2 +6*b =

8a+16b + 12a +6b

Now we need to combine like terms.

16b and 6b are like terms.

16b+6b= 22b

12a and 8a are also like terms.

12a+8a= 20a

Our most simple form is: 20a+22b

Final answer: 20a + 22b
