Opportunity for advancement

Jobs that are highly demanding, but do not allow opportunity for advancement are stressful because they make workers feel undervalued, unfairly compensated and resentful towards their employers. Workers feel a sense of dissatisfaction and disappointment because the efforts and time they put into their jobs are not earning them fair rewards such as praise, promotions and high salaries.
