Equation;

[2/3](p + 6) = 4 + 2(p - 6)

Find:

The value of p

Computation:

[2/3](p + 6) = 4 + 2(p - 6)

(2/3)p + 4 = 4 + 2p - 12

(2/3)p = 2p - 12

2p - (2/3)p = 12

6p - 2p = 36

4p = 36

p = 8
