Pro-sentence (also called anaphoric sentence) is a short phrase, where one word takes place of fuller sentence (most common pro-sentences are "okay", "yes", "I do" etc.)

Example: Would you like to go to the theater?
Normal answer: Yes, I'd like to go to the theater.
Pro-sentence: "sure", "okay"
