Point slope form is:

[tex]y - y_{1} = m(x - x_{1})[/tex]

With [tex] x_{1} [/tex] and [tex] y_{1} [/tex] being a set of points, and m being the slope.

So basically, m would be the slope of the line, and [tex] x_{1} [/tex] and [tex] y_{1} [/tex] would be the parts of an ordered pair.

So then you could take any points, and any slope, and just put it in. Here's an example:

y - 4 = 3(x - 2)

With the point being (2, 4) and slope 3.
