It is the Blocked Opportunity Theory. Opportunity is a human science hypothesis created by Richard Cloward and Lloyd Ohlin. The hypothesis expresses that wrongdoings result from a high number of ill-conceived openings and not from an absence of honest to good ones. The hypothesis was made from Merton's strain hypothesis to help address adolescent misconduct.
