(3/4) / (1/8) =
3/4 * 8/1 =
24/4 =
6 <== he filled 6 glasses

The answer would be 6 glasses of lemonade. 
3/4=6/8
1/8= one glass
So since there is 6/8 of a gallon, there would be 6 glasses.
