What would you observe if you decolorized your slide too much? how would your cells appear?

It would depend on the method of decolorization. The most common one is by using Acetone-alcohol. When your slide are decolorized too much with Acetone-alcohol, cells will appear to be pink since the crystal violet are washed out.
