the answer is 13/18. find the common denominator which is 54 now put 54 on both sides, also multiply the old denominator with the opposite nominator, like so 5*6=30 and 9*1=9, so the new fraction would be 9/54 + 30/54 =39/54 simplified by 3 is 39/3 =13 and 54/3 =18, so you get 13/18.
