The entire sun is powered by fusion, which is a form of nuclear energy. Infrared, visible, and ultraviolet lights that are released by the sun are all forms of electromagnetic energy that the sun releases. Finally, the sun is a giant burning ball of gas, and that is the heat energy of the sun :D
