The genetic determinate for male reproductive development is the SRY gene.
This gene stands for sex-determining region Y gene, and has to do with providing information for the creation of an SRY protein necessary for male sexual development. As you already know, women have XX chromosomes, and men have XY chromosomes, and the SRY gene is found only on the Y chromosome.
