Because a photograph depends on lighting to dark = u cant see
to light = your picture will be to bright

All about the lighting if it's to dark you cant see and If you use flash most times your eyes in the picture appears red if it's to sunny sometimes you can't see all of the details of what your trying to capture in that photo
