Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) is a disorder caused by a mutation in a gene that affects bone formation, bone strength and the structure of other tissues. It basically causes you to have a fragile skeleton. Also called Brittle Bone Disease, sufferers of this disease have extremely brittle and breakable bones.
