divide the whole equation by (x-1)^(1/3) and you get:

4x^2+6x(x-1)^(3/3)=0 which is equal to:

4x^2+6x(x-1)=0 which is equal to:

4x^2+6x^2+6x=0

10x^2+6x=0  factor...

2x(5x+3)=0

So there are two solutions:

x=-3/5 and 0
