The solubility of a gas in a solvent increases as pressure increases.
This relationship explains why when you open a can of soda it bubbles since the contents of a soda can is under pressure and when you open the can the contents is depressurized. This depressurization causes the dissolved CO2 in the can to bubble out of solution since the solubility of the gas decreases.

I hope this helps let me know if you need anything to be explained further.
