     6x + 10y = 12
2( -3x + y = 6)

 6x + 10y = 12
-6x + 2y = 12
12y = 24
y= 2

6x+ 10 (2) = 12
6x + 20 = 12
6x = 8
x = 8/6
x= 4/3
