Explain how to compare two lengths that are measured in different-sized units.

The best way to compare the two lengths is to use a conversion factor to convert to one unit or the other.

For example, lets say we have 15feet and we want that in yards.

We know there are 3 feet in a yard so we can say 15ft * 1yd/3feet.  We end up with 5 yards.
