How do I solve y+2=-3(x-1) in standard form

The answer you are looking for is:
3x+y=1
so these are the steps...
y+2=-3(x-1)
y+2=-3x+3
-2 -2
y+2-2=-3x+3-2
y=3x+1
+3x +3x
y+3x=1
3x+y=1
