Explanation:

I learned in my 5th grade, that 97% is stored in oceans, which is salt water. Then, there is 2% stored in glaciers, icecaps, and permanant frozen (permanent ice and snow). And there is 1% which is fresh water which we can drink.

My teacher told it as this, take 100 cups of water, 97 of them are salt water, 2 of them are icecaps and glaciers, and the rest 1 is fresh water.
