30 pounds cause 10 divided by 4 is 2.5 and 2.5x 12 is 30 and 30 divided by 2.5 is 12

For $10, it is = 4
For 1, it is = 4/10

Now, for $12, it would be: 4/10 * 12 = 2/5 * 12 = 24/5 = 4.8

In short, Your Answer would be 24/5 or 4.8 Pounds
