First find the same denominator
15 30 45
6 12 18 24 30
The same denominator is 30.
What you do to the denominator you must do to the numerator.
So multiply
1/15 * 2/2 = 2/30
1/6 * 5/5 = 5/30
Then add
2/30 + 5/30 = 7/30
