F(x)=mx+b
F(-4)=-4m + b
3=-4m+b

F(x)=mx+b
F(-2)=-2m+b
-8=-2m+b

Elimination
3=-4m+b
-(-8=-2m+b)

11=-2m
m=-11/2

Sub m in either equation to get b
3=-4(-11/2)+b
3=22+b
b=3-22
b=-19

Therefore’ y=-11/2x - 19
