A rectangle has a perimeter of 34 inches. It's length is 5 inches more than its width. Find the dimensions of the rectangle.

34÷4= 8.5

You divide by 4 for every side.

The length is 5 inches more than the width.

8.5+5= 13.5 will be the length

8.5 - 5= 3.5 will be the width

Length=13.5 inches
Width= 3.5 inches
