45 feet in 9 seconds is the same as 5 feet per second

If he travels 5 feet per second and he needs to go 150 feet then how many seconds is that? To solve you should create an equation.

5x=150          X=seconds

5x=150 is the same as 150/5 = x

150/5 = 30

x = 30

It takes 30 seconds to travel 150 feet
