Answer:

Since the two angles are complementary, they add up to 90...

If we call the first one x, then the other must be 90-x...

Since they are 35 different, we write

x = (90 - x) + 35

now solve, and get

x = 90 - x + 35

x = -x + 125

2x = 125

x = 62.5 deg

the other must be

90 - 62.5 = 27.5 deg
