a = 18
You need to
Multiply both sides of the equation
- 3/2 x (-2/3) x a = - 3/2 x - 12
Then simplify both sides
a = - 3/2 x 12
Simplify
-3/2 x -12
a = -3 x -6
Multiply -3 by -6
Answer: a = 18
