Question: How do you know [tex] \frac{72}{80} \ \textgreater \ \frac{7}{8} ?[/tex]

To know for sure why its larger, you need to make sure they have the same denominator (bottom number)

To do that, multiply both sides in [tex] \frac{7}{8} [/tex] by 10 which is [tex] \frac{70}{80} [/tex]

[tex]72\ \textgreater \ 70[/tex]
