When you buy strawberry why does "TASTE" matter? Please helppp

Taste matters because you have to enjoy the strawberry when you eat it. Unripen strawberries are very sour and are not appealing to taste. You would have a difficult time eating a sour or rotten strawberry. That is why taste matters.
