Need help to solve it using Substitution method

y= x-7
y= -4x-2​

Substitute the value y: x-7=-4x-2
Solve the equation: x =1
Substitute the value of x: y=-4(1) -2
Solve the equation: y= -6
Solution: (x, y) = (1, -6)
