We can calculate what did he get, as we know he sold 17 vasess for 3.25 dollars each of them, we can multiply:

17 * 3.25 = $55.25

Now, we know he got 55.25 dollars but he spent 16.21, so we substract:

55.25 - 16.21 = $39.04

His profit selling that is of 39.04 dollars..
