The most reasonable safety precautions for field investigations is to always tell a teacher where your going because sometimes you could go to an area to explore, but you get lost and stranded in a deserted place and another safety precaution is to have a friend go with you because its fun to explore with interesting things with a friend, plus if your alone your most likely to get into danger.
