Explain why tsunamis can do far more harm than earthquakes?

Tsunamis can destroy homes and people . Earthquakes just move things but doesn't destroy homes well very rarely they do . Earthquakes just shakes the earth and thats it . Tsunamis are very dangerous is can kill people people who are driving cars with babies inside the parents can died and the baby has to be a homeless kid if it has no otger knowed family.
