Two seventh grade students are studying how sound waves are transferring energy. They hold a large pot near the side of a cup of water and bang the pot with a wooden spoon. What is the medium for the sound waves to get to the students' ears?
I believe it would be either the Spoon, D, or the Large Pot, C. Since the spoon is hitting the Pot, it would make sense for the spoon to be the medium because it’s the thing directly colliding with the pot to make the sound. Hope this helps :)
