How can I make the following equations in the form of y=mx+b?
Y+3x=1
Y-6=2x

you have to make them both y equals.
y+3x=1
  -3x  -3x       Subtract 3x to both sides to get y on one side, alone.
y=-3x+1        Now its in y=mx+b form!
y=mx+b

y-6=2x
 +6  +6         Add 6 to both sides to get y alone
y=2x+6        Now its in y=mx+b form!
y=mx+b
