x = - 4;  y = 3;  z = 2;
2 x² - 2 z^4 + y² - x² + z^4 =
= 2 * (-4)² - 2 * 2^4 + 3² - ( -4)² + 2^4 =
= 2 * 16 - 2 * 16 + 9 - 16 + 16 =
= 32 - 32 + 9 - 16 + 16 =  9
