n; n+2-two odd consecutive integers

n + (n + 2) = -12
n + n + 2 = -12
2n + 2 = -12 |subtract 2 from both sides
2n = -14 |divide both sides by 2
n = -7

n + 2 = -7 + 2 = -5

Answer: -7 and -5
