"Ecumenical movement" or "ecumenism" is a movement inside of the Christian religion to unite all the sects and organizations of the religion (today they are split among the Catholics, protestants and many others.)

Today this goal is among others exercished by the World Council of Churches, which has as its goal promoting dialogue between the churches. This organisation had a recent meeeting in 2013 in Korea for example.
