How did the rights of women improve during the age of reform

The women rights improve during the age of reform giving them the right to vote, the right to speak up like the men did. This gave women more confidence to finally get a job and not just be a mother inside the home with her children, but experience independence on their own when they finally had a chance to step out into the world as their own person.
