A lady bug is the smallest or shortest item among the choices. A leg would be larger than a lady bug. Next, a giraffe has a height of about 10 meters which is undoubtly beyond the height of a school building. The city block would be the longest among all these. Hence the order from shortest to longest is lady bug < leg < school building < giraffe < city block
