in y = mx + b form, the m represents the slope.
so put ur equation in that form...ur basically just solving for y.

-3x + 4y = 10...add 3x to both sides
4y = 3x + 10...divide both sides by 4
y = (3/4)x + 10/4
Now what is the number in the m position..the number before the x ?

It is 3/4...so that is ur slope

-3x + 4y = 10

4y = 3x + 10

y = 3x/4 + 10/4

y = (3/4)x + 2.5   comparing to  y = mx + c, where m = slope.

Slope m = 3/4 = 0.75
