ATP Breaks down into ADP and inorganic phosphate group.

Explanation:

ATP is a molecule that belong to the family of nucleotide triphosphate. In order to release energy, ATP breaks down into Adinosine Diphosphate(ADP) and inorganic phosphate group.  One of the main function of ATP is to act as a source of energy. Most cellular reactions that require energy do so by utilizing ATP as a  co-enzyme and the energy needed is obtained from the hydrolysis of ATP to ADP+ phosphate.
