Divide the polynomial 3x^4-2x^3+5x^2-3 by (x+1)​

I used synthetic division to solve this (pardon the messiness I tried to write it out on the computer but I'm not that good at maneuvering the mouse)

Below are the steps I took:

The answer is: [tex]3x^{3} -5x^{2} +10x -10 + \frac{7}{x + 1}[/tex]
