Given a slope [tex] m [/tex], the slope [tex] m'[/tex] of a line perpendicular to [tex]m[/tex] is the opposite of the inverse of [tex] m [/tex]

In other words:

[tex] mm' = -1 \iff m' = -\dfrac{1}{m} [/tex]

So, the slope of CD is -5/2.
