  • Suppose the temperature is constant.

Boyle’s Law  states that at constant temperature, the  volume of a given quantity of a gas  varies inversely with its pressure.

∴ P₁V₁ = P₂V₂.

P₁ = 91.0 kPa & V₁ = 125.0 mL.

P₂ = 101.0 kPa & V₂ = ??? mL.

∴ V₂ = (P₁V₁) / P₂ = (91.0 kPa)(125.0 mL) / (101.0 kPa) = 112.62 mL.
