If f(1) =8 and f(n) =1/2f(n-1) + 2 then what is the value of f(4)?


I can't get it! PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Well, get f(2) first: f(2)=1/2 times 8+2 which is 6 Then get f(3) = f(2)/2+2 which is 5 And finally get (4)= f(3)/2 + 2 which is 4.5 If you were expecting an integer as an answer, you were wrong
